Katie Hartley is a former School Teacher, Historian, Real Estate Agent, Ski Lift Operator, Hairdresser, Candle Maker and Entrepreneur but all she’s really ever wanted to do is write.
Katie loves a challenge. She combines a love of new projects with the joy of creation and sometimes even finishes the things she starts. She has walked the gruelling 100km Kokoda Track, renovated a yacht, loves riding her scooter and has 50 million story ideas in her head at any one time.
She is currently working on her debut novel and building her experience within the blogisphere, whilst working and raising a family in the inimitable Bondi Beach. She lives with her husband and daughter and her two stunning Australian Shepherds, Indi and Ruby.
Her characters are real people who are trapped in her brain and she hopes one day to find the tools to get them out.
